Awesome Podcast Guys as always :)

My opinion on the whole virtual reality with the likes of the Oculus Rift is that it will go too far, but I think due to the extreme difference between it and standard gaming when it comes to having a psychological effect on someone it will quickly be clamped down. The last thing that we need is a new Manhunt in the Oculus Rift and it is only a certain amount of time before someone oversteps the line like Rockstar did with Manhunt 1 and 2 back on the PS2. The Manhunt series went so far that Manhunt 2 was the first EVER game to be banned in Ireland and refused classification for sale. There is no way of telling when or how or why, but it is only a certain amount of time before such a game gets developed and put on to such platforms and chaos will ensue as per usual.

For anyone who may be unfamiliar with Manhunt I'll post a link below with everything about it and leave it at that.

Heh! There was only one game that I left behind me when I moved house as a kid and guess what it was? Descent to Undermountain! This is coming from someone who wouldn't leave Hellgate London behind and that game was shit awful!

Heros of a Broken Land is a game that is on my list of much plays. Going to get around to it in the near future!

Speaking of Might and Magic, I got the Might and Magic 1-6 Limited Edition on the DRM Free Time Machine Sale on GOG.com. I haven't played 1-5 at all so I cannot say which would be better in your argument of 5 or 6. However I will say, that 6 was better than 7, 8 and 9 by a long shot! I believe I might start up a new series of Let's Plays soon called Let's Try to Play Might and Magic 1, as it is way before my time and I am going to be soooooooo out of my depth lol.

Good to have you back guys :)

If it's "Let's Try" you should try and complete Fountain Head at the start of Might & Magic 3 lol

You'll be shouting "BLOODY MOOSE RATS!!!" within 15 minutes, I guarantee it.

It took me weeks of in-game time to clear Fountain Head. It's ridiculous.

I'm actually glad that you all brought up Heroes of a Broken Land. I had tried that a while ago and only played a few minutes of it before I promptly uninstalled the demo. But....since this Podcast I decided to give it another go longer than a few minutes. Before long, I looked at the clock and found a couple of hours had past and I was enjoying it. It's not too bad at all. Looks like I'm going to have to register it!

I actually just got Heros of a Broken Land last week. My other half decided to get it for me for my birthday. I think it is an awesome game, a nice combination of Heros of Might and Magic, Wizardry and a hint of Might and Magic. I think it is well worth the €11 it cost.
