Does "Healing Source" spell effect heal enemies?
It likely does. Heal self would only affect you for certain.
Is it an aura effect, or does it heal the source of the cast ... ?
I am confused.
From memory I think I made it only work on the player.
I hope so, just found a nice sword that I am yearning to use in battle once I reach lvl 5.
It's a longsword dmg 16-22, heal self (power 2), healing source (power 3).
That actually sounds like a pretty badass find for that level!
Just reached level 5 and equipped it and immediately was horrified and almost killed because of it, by a dumb goblin xD
The Healing Source is spawned in the spot you're attacking, not on yourself, so it keeps healing the enemy, had to switch weapons back.
The main strategy I've seen employed with healing sources is finding a nice quiet spot you can easily get to, placing the healing source there, then running off into battle, knowing you can go back and heal there.
So that’s how it works! Good to know these things .
So having that attached to a sword is not such a badass idea after all ?
Only for torturing purposes. You could cast a fireball in the face of the ogre, and then when he is alsmost dead, you can beat him up to full health again and repeat the process.
Now you only need mana leech on the sword, too ^^
Now you see, how sick and evil minded the programmer of this game is
Howzabout a healing source within a fire, poison trap. Hey! at the bottom of a spike trap the first or last thing you see!
Make it a challenge. The game gives you one chance to grab the weapon.
You must be talking about Alex (runs for cover... ).
Oh no I totally own that fact about myself
From memory, though, if you put that enchantment in ARMOUR and not a weapon, it puts the source at your feet. I could be wrong, though.
Makes sense .
